The club is located on the eastern shore of Soldiers Point within Port Stephens.

We sail on Salamander Bay with predominately north easterly to south easterly sea breezes. Sailors include children, youth, women, open and masters.

The current senior membership sail predominately Lasers but small catamarans and other classes of sailing dinghy are most welcome. Our children sail in O'pen Bic dinghy

Races are held every Sunday starting at 13.30 and include one handicap start race and one scratch start race. The club also arranges sail training, recreational sailing and junior and adult learn to sail programs.

Our season runs from the first week of September through to late April.

The Club holds several major regattas during the year, the details are displayed on the regatta section of this website.

We welcome sailors of any age with storage available in the clubhouse for new boats. The Club has boats for hire to prospective members and to members who don’t yet have a boat.

Sailors who aren’t members are welcome to join our recreational events or races by registering at the club prior to commencement.
